How it works

Join me for 2 x 1 hour sessions via Zoom each month. 

Please note all sessions are recorded and uploaded to our membership portal within 24 hours, so don’t stress if you can’t make it live.

About me

I am a deeply heartled Marketing Manager who found herself in Social Media land in 2011, having to work out Facebook for my employer and find a way to do it that would both cut through and also feel ‘ok’ for me to consistently action. So many of the feeds at the time (and to come) were deeply rooted in a sales driven narrative, an approach I found deeply uncomfortable. I decided to try doing things my way, ‘story selling’ instead, after all social media for business was in its infancy and there was no template yet for how to do this. If it didn't work, I’d just change direction, try new things.

But work it did. Not in the metrics of what is considered ‘social media success’, follower numbers or virality  – although these did of course grow, just slowly and steadily rather than virally – but in less directly measurable ways. The business was soon booked out for events that had required print advertising previously. People started telling their multi-generational stories of loving visiting the place in comments or the check-ins section.  The check-ins on Facebook soon numbered 60,000. At 20+ years old, it was becoming top of mind and the ‘go to’ venue again for celebrations and occasions.

Did each of those people follow the page? No. To this day that page has less than 10,000 followers. But it’s strong engagement and deeply connected followers will picket, no word of a lie, to keep this business alive.

Felt was born off the back of this experience in 2015, plus 10 years in sales and marketing prior, and from the get-go attracted clients who were drawn to this storytelling approach to running digital feeds and marketing their business. To this day we have supported over 200 businesses through Full Social Media Management, Coaching and Workshops, contributing to a groundswell of heartled and authentic narrative in a world that desperately needs it, in a space that is - more often than not - anything but…

In 2019 I began mentoring people to run feeds for their business, or the business they worked in, 1:1. In how to apply this storytelling framework to a social media world and how also to adopt the tools, self-reflection and self-care to do this in a ‘well’ way. A counselling styled approach that helped people let go of ‘should’s’ and edginess and instead find ‘could’s’, confidence, calm and inspiration in the task.
